Collection: White Tea

These are the most delicate of all the variety of teas produced. They have a subtle and refreshing flavour that is natural and earthy. The youngest part of the tea plant is picked which still has soft white hair on it (hence its name) and sometimes with only the first leaf making this often the most labour intensive tea to pick. Traditionally the leaves are then dried in the open under shade. As the leaves are neither pan fired or oxidized, they remain almost unaltered. The flavour is subtle and should be carefully appreciated.
