Tung Ting Oolong

Origin: Taiwan

This selected speciality is only produced in the mountainous Nantou region in Taiwain and is highly valued by tea connoisseurs around the world. Because of its short oxidation period, after which it is firmly rolled by hand, a light and fresh character is ensured in contrast with more heavy green oolongs.The leaf structure shines in olive and jade shades and the cup is a light amber colour. The first infusion is very vivid and brings to mind the scent of peach blossom.

Brewing Instructions:

- one teaspoon/cup
- 90 ̊C water temperature
- steep for approx. 3 mins
- usually drunk without milk
- may be reinfused
