Origin: Poland
Grade: First Grade
Originating from Central Europe, infusions made from raspberry leaves have been consumed over millennia. Not only for its delightfully natural character, but also for the botanical healing properties, ranging from easing a sore throat to leg cramps. As the robust plant was introduced farther afield, it flourished, as did its popularity. Archaeologists studying cultures of North America found that women of ancient Cherokee, Iroquois and Mohawk nations drank raspberry leaf tea regularly, particularly during pregnancy to alleviate discomfort. This is a truly thirst-quenching caffeine free herbal infusion with enticing grassy notes.
