Rooibos or Redbush is a South African herb (Aspalathus linearis) of which the leaves, or needles, are harvested and in this case processed in the same way as black tea. It is naturally caffeine free and rich in vitamin C. Not dissimilar to the flavour of tea, rooibos has become increasingly respected as a healthy addition to any diet and has become very popular in the UK as a caffeine free alternative to tea. This infusion can be enjoyed any time of day.
Brewing Instructions:
- one teaspoon/cup
- 98 ̊C water temperature
- steep for 5 mins+
- usually drunk without milk
- may not be reinfused
