Organic Misty Green - Green Tea

Origin: China, Zhejiang Province

High humidity and prevailing ground fogs gave this tea its name. These teas are nurtured and cared for following controlled organic cultivation in the western part of Zhejiang, at altitudes of 800m where there are many sunny days with not too hot temperatures. The finished leaf is a sight for sore eyes: rich, dark green colour, evenly worked and slightly curly. The infusion is shiny, smooth and grassy and the flavour surprises with fresh and spinach-like aromas and hints of algae, which could also stem from a Japanese ‘Tea Maker”. We are very glad to add this amazing green tea back onto our supply list. It has been sorely missed.

Brewing Instructions:
- one teaspoon/cup
- 80 ̊C water temperature
- steep for 2-3 mins
- usually drunk without milk
- may be reinfused
