A 30g tin of Ceremonial Matcha Green Tea
Matcha is a finely ground high quality green tea often used in Japanese tea ceremonies. This powder is normally added to a large bowl and whisked until it becomes frothy and then drunk. Alternatively you can use it for baking and to make ice cream. Because you consume the entire leaf of the tea plant it has a much higher concentration of antioxidants and therefore considered an even healthier choice than infused teas.
Instructions: Rinse the teacup with boiling water before preparing the tea. Sieve the matcha and put 1-2 teaspoons into a cup and gently pour 80ml of 80 ̊C water on it. Mix with whisk till a fine foam appears. Drink in a few sips.
